Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actor that has won critical acclaim for her talents. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne psychologist. Her heritage is English-Scottish. Moore's father moved around frequently due to his work. It was it difficult for her to meet or maintain friendships. Moore began acting in plays when she moved with her family members to Germany. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. In Theater. Following graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut in an episode of The Edge of Night. The episode aired in 1986. she played the dual characters that were Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). This became her first major breakthrough. She was on this show from 1988 to the present and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. Her film debut came in 1990 with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she described later as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her movies. The latter production, for which Moore won numerous awards as well as the acclamation of critics. Moore was first cast in the role of a leading lady on the screen in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg's casting of Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which is among the most successful films of 1997, represented a huge change in Moore's career. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and earned a SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep received nominations for nine Academy Awards. Moore has also appeared in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore has been featured in numerous TV and film series. Moore's most recent appearance as a lead actress was In When You Finish saving the World (2022). As an Hollywood actress and children's writer, the actress is well-established. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. best-seller, leading to the adaptation into a series and a musical. Additionally, in 2013, Moore wrote My Mother is a Stranger. Moore is known as a renowned actress and novelist. Moore married John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her children. Moore's main focus is her family, friends and career.
